Rachel and Mike’s wedding took place at my favorite wedding in the DC area, the Woodend Sanctuary in Chevy Chase. The beautiful backdrop added to what was already a lovely wedding. The bride and groom chose very vibrant colors for the wedding party, and so i tried to capture the rich hues in my photos. Take a look at some of my very favorite picks.
While most of America spent the weekend grilling out and taking advantage of the July 4th sales, I kept busy with engagement sessions and Missy and Ben’s wedding on Saturday night, where I saw some fireworks of my own. Missy and Ben tied the knot at the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Virginia, a very unique and beautiful spot for a summer wedding. With the weather on our side, we got some great shots on the gardens’ picturesque grounds before the ceremony.

I had a fantastic time photographing Shaida and Pedram’s wedding last weekend. My friend, Patrice Golesorkhi of Exclusively Events, did a beautiful job of not only planning the wedding, but of setting up the soufre and designing the decadent wedding cake. Shaida’s elegant up do was created by Devon Langlas, and my friend Nour Kazoun of MadeUp Art did a beautiful job on her makeup. The beautiful floral arrangements were provided by Distinctive Floral Design’s. Shaida and Pedram’s guests danced the night away to music by DJ Jiman Khosravan from Elite DJs and Productions. Thanks so much to Shaida and Pedram for letting me be a part of their special day.
