A few days ago, my latest pride and joy arrived – the Mystique Series Album from PictoBooks. The outside of the handcrafted album features what PIctoBooks describes as customizable 3D texture which can either be ornamental or more simplistic. This is definitely not Avatar, but the effect is amazing. For my album sample, i chose the couple’s initials as the raised design – very fancy shmancy! And while the album is really posh, it’s also elegant and timeless. I’m so excited to show this to my next wedding client!
I’m so in love with this album that i created a whole slideshow (using my latest pro slideshow service from Animoto of course) dedicated to my album sample. It doesn’t do the album complete justice, but hope you get a sense of how impressive it is.
Today I received a very exciting album for one of my sexiest couples of 2009 – Lesley and Ali’s destination wedding in Puerto Rico. The album is made by PictoBooks which has been my boutique album company for the past couple of years and has been providing me, my studio and my couples amazing products from the first sample I ordered from them. This album is one from their “Signature” series, 10×10 (opens up to 10×20 panorama spreads), seamless, bound with the highest quality genuine leather and with a full cameo on the cover (cover photo). The album comes standard in a very fancy mahogany wood box, engraved with Lesley and Ali’s name and wedding date.

The book features Giin and Sean’s wedding and I’m totally loving the album. Both the binding and the print quality are amazing! The seamless pages, full spreads that feature my panoramic crops, just what I am looking for. Picto did a great job and I can’t wait to order more of their albums.
