Martinis and Makeovers 2010
Last night, I was fortunate enough to photograph an incredible evening dedicated to the widows of our fallen servicemen at Martini’s and Makeovers, a fundraiser benefiting Got Your Back Network (GYBN). Hosted by Dr. Andy Baldwin (former star of ABC’s “The Bachelor”), the Ritz-Carlton rolled out the red carpet for an evening of pampering and cocktails (of course!), all sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue and Ultimat Vodka. It was a really fun event, and I got to mingle (while working, of course!) with some of my friends, Jessica Andrews, Dr. Mark Drapeau, Renee Sharrow, Nicole Devolites, Wendy Gordon, Heather Menis Shaw and WUSA 9 reporter Angie Goff, who all showed up to lend their support to a very important cause. As a constant supporter of our troops, I was really glad that I was able to offer my services to a truly unique and worthwhile organization, and I’m excited that I’ll be able to help at some other Washington charity events this year.
