On most weddings I do my best to dedicate at least 30 minutes and sometime 3 hours for a photo shoot of my couples. Cydney and Brad’s wedding day was not only rainy but also hectic and we completed the “set” with a wonderful “Day After” Session.
Last night was my official last wedding for 2009 and I must say, I closed 2009 with a bang! Julia and Chris’ wedding, party and photo shoot were a blast. Julia was referred to me by Carine of Carine’s Bridal Atelier in Georgetown. Julia and I met close to a year ago and since then we’ve shot their “Save The Date” photos and yesterday, their amazing wedding.
Julia looked amazing and Chris, well, a James Bond type. We had a beautiful shoot at Union Station and in Downtown DC, a great “Vogue” style shoot at the new “W” hotel and an unbelievable party with DJ Neal Becton, who really rocked the party. Julia and Chris’s best friends were amazing to spend time with, made me and Noah Hayes (my awesome wing-man) feel very welcome and were so open to any wild ideas I came up with. This gave me the opportunity to get some real fun and cool shots while it rained on us!
Here’s a sneak preview of their amazing wedding moments. Congratulations guys!
Today I had a great afternoon with Missy and Ben who are getting married next year in the summer and booked me for their wedding. The couple had some great moves (loved the MJ tribute) and we were laughing non stop.
I’m really looking forward to their outdoor wedding and know it will be a blast!
