On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure and amazing time photographing the very special day of Pranisa and Louis. I met Pranisa and Louis a couple of times before the wedding for their engagement photos and a short family ceremony last month. Spending time with them not just for photos but to hear about their wedding plans and simply get to know them, made my day so much fun and easy, I knew exactly what they were expecting and had so much fun delivering.
We got ready at the gorgeous Hotel Monaco and party all night at the Ronald Reagan Building, right after their outdoor ceremony. We had beautiful weather and everything was just perfect, including Louis’s own spinning some of his tunes – the party really rocked!
A very special thanks to the talented Hadar Goren of Hadar Goren Photography for photographing the wedding with me. Elizabeth of Blue Sky Films was great to work with too, I can’t want to see the wedding DVD!
In just a few days this blog post will be updated with more photos and a slideshow, stay tuned!

I just updated this post with Meghan and Johnny’s Wedding photos from this past weekend. With a few bags full of cameras and goodies, and Noah Hayes as my wing-man photographer, we went down to Ft Bragg to photograph this beautiful couple’s ceremony on base and a great reception right after, at Ironwood Cafe. I promise to post more photos right after the break!
Special thanks to the amazing photographer Noah Hayes for capturing some unforgettable moments, Jourdan from Ironwood Cafe for the great hospitality and Carolina Entertainment for rocking the party!

Today I photographed Emily and Ben’s engagement session, right by my neighborhood which also used to be Emily’s old neighborhood before she and Ben moved to LA. They flew in to DC to run some wedding errands and to meet with me (oh, and to take photos.. yeah).
I was introduced to Emily and Ben by by Alex Pare of Cherry Blossom Weddings & Events who’s doing an awesome job planing their wedding! Their wedding is taking place at the Woodend Sanctuary which I have had the fun of photographing at that location just 4 weeks ago. I’m really looking for their wedding and next visit to DC and hopefully we’ll have more time to take more engagement photos then.
