I hung out with Lauren and Geoff, who are my wife’s colleagues, at the Screen on the Green event and right at sunset we took a couple of shots. What an adorable couple!
It’s amazing, what a great lens can do in low light condition, I mean, it was practically almost dark, even though it doesn’t show in the photo.
Thanks Lauren and Geoff, for good times!

The hot weather took a hiatus yesterday, in time for one of the coolest events of the summer – Screen on the Green. Hundreds of Washingtonians headed to the National Mall once the sun goes down to catch a screening of a Hollywood classic (yesterday’s movie was Arsenic and Old Lace). The event was a perfect excuse to enjoy the summer weather, a free movie and to snap a few shots of Washington’s landmarks.
Here are some and the 3rd photo is actually featured in about.com !

Ok, I got a thing with ducks, did you know that? Saw this group of ducks yesterday at McPherson Square (probably landed for refueling and took off immediately).
